I am reading the 4 Hour Body by Tim Ferris.  I saw it on the Dr. Oz show while I was out in California, waiting for my ex boyfriend to call, hanging out with my grandparents.  It looked interesting so I thought I would read it!

As I have been insisting I am so over diets!  Bleh!  But that doesn't mean I want to give up the quest for being a healthier person.

So far the book has been talking about how calories and BMI are pretty much bunk (ok lol), because every single body is different and burns fuel or consumes food differently.  Makes sense!  So I guess he did research to figure out how to get the body to burn fuel better?  IDK, haven't gotten that far yet.

I do not believe that the person who wrote this book is super qualifies in this area - but there is some interesting advice and pointers.  Like, setting specific goals and measuring yourself in different ways regularly in order to motivate yourself.  One of the time was to use this website that you send pictures of the food you a eating to.  That website no longer exists but I liked the idea - so that I can get a better idea of what it is I am eating.  So I made a tumbler that can do the same thing :)
